Who Am I?

My name is Jouquin Fox, born January 3rd 2000, and I live and learn and create. Mostly, I create music, a lot of the time rap music, and you can find quite literally every album I've been a primary artist on, in my shop. These projects range from 2017 - now, but I've been making music from the time I was nine taking guitar lessons. 

I graduated with a bachelor's degree from Wichita State University back in May 2023, where I double majored in Creative Writing and English Literature. I don't come from any sliver of wealth, so while I plan to continue my education in grad school, I don't have the money to do so and work a lot to even live.

In a lot of ways, I am just like the next man over, having went to school, working all the time, and who doesn't know how to play the guitar or rap nowadays? Well, I play keys, bass, dabble in drums, and produce beats as well, with a consistent public output since 2017. There are loads of works that have gotten left to the wayside, much like other artists, and so much more to come in 2024 and beyond. I've been performing my music live spanning from 2021 until now, and the goal is to only keep growing all of my resumes.

My poem "On Neruda's Poem (GREEN)" appeared in the January 2022 Mujeres Libres Press Anthology Volume One.
